These Terms govern your use of the Specably App and Site. By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
- Eligibility & account. You must have a Shopify store and authority to install apps on it.
- License. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App for your store while you comply with these Terms.
- The service. Specably generates AI-assisted Q&A and product spec/comparison content from your catalog and store content, for display on your product pages as you configure/approve.
- AI content disclaimer. AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete. Content is grounded in your store data and shown with source references, and is provided in a draft/approval workflow, but you are responsible for reviewing, approving, and publishing content and for its accuracy and legal compliance on your storefront. The App is provided to assist, not replace, your judgment.
- Acceptable use. You agree to the Acceptable Use Policy.
- Fees. Paid plans and any free trial are billed through Shopify Billing per the pricing shown in the App/Site. Charges are handled by Shopify and subject to Shopify’s terms.
- Third parties. The App relies on Shopify and the sub-processors listed in our Privacy Policy. We’re not responsible for third-party outages or changes.
- Intellectual property. We own the App, Site, and our trademarks. You own your store content and the content you approve/publish.
- Warranty disclaimer. The App and Site are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
- Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Specably is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 3 months before the claim.
- Indemnity. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your storefront, your published content, or your breach of these Terms.
- Termination. You may uninstall at any time; we may suspend/terminate for breach. On termination, your store data is deleted per our Privacy Policy.
- Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at Specably’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
- Changes. We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
