Where do the answers come from?
From your own content: product descriptions, specs, metafields, and any docs you add. Every answer shows a “Source:” so shoppers (and you) can see exactly what it was based on. If the information isn’t in your content, Specably says so instead of guessing.
Will it make things up or hallucinate?
No. Answers are grounded in your sources and labeled with where they came from. Anything that can’t be grounded is withheld or flagged for you to fill in. It is never invented.
Does Specably access my orders or customers?
No. Specably reads only your catalog and content: products, descriptions, specs, metafields, and docs. It has no access to orders, customer records, or any personal data.
Will it slow down my store?
No. The information layer is lightweight, lazy-loaded, and built for Core Web Vitals, with no layout shift and no render-blocking scripts. Your theme stays fast.
Am I in control of what goes live?
Always. You review and approve answers, key specs, and compare data before anything publishes. Edit or override any answer, and your edits always win.
How long does setup take?

Yes. Every generated answer is editable, and manual edits take priority over generated content. You can also pin, hide, or reword anything at any time.
Does it keep up as my catalog changes?
Yes. When you update descriptions, specs, or metafields, Specably refreshes the affected answers and spec highlights so your product pages stay accurate.
